About Me
I’m a counsellor and psychotherapist with a BA (Hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy. For over eight years I’ve worked across mental health and wellbeing services. My path into therapy was shaped by a lifelong curiosity about human behaviour, and a deep belief in the power of connection, presence and understanding. I’ve seen first-hand how transformative it can be to feel truly heard and that’s what led me to this work.
My experience spans NHS community mental health, higher education wellbeing, mental health research, working with young adults and LGBTQIA+ clients. Each of these roles has deepened my understanding of the real-life challenges people face and the support that can make a meaningful difference.
At the heart of my practice is a person-centred approach: I see therapy as a collaborative space where you’re met with compassion, honesty and respect. I integrate evidence-based techniques from CBT, Gestalt and Focusing, tailoring our work to suit your individual needs and goals. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, grief, identity, relationships or simply feeling stuck—my role is to support you in exploring what matters most to you, at your pace and in your way.
Outside of therapy, I love being outdoors, cooking, reading and spending time with my two dogs—Tilly and Sadie. They remind me daily of the importance of slowing down, connecting and appreciating the small moments that make life meaningful.
If you’re considering therapy and wondering whether we might be a good fit, I’d be happy to have a conversation. You’re welcome to get in touch to ask questions or arrange an initial session—no pressure, just a space to explore what you need.
